The Federleicht 29er MTB is one of the most compact 29" bikes for cycling enthusiastic children. The compact geometry with a deep bottom bracket and the shortest head tube on the market makes it possible to ride a real 29er at an early stage (already 145cm body height - even earlier with rigid fork).

The equipment is the finest: Fox 32 Performance suspension fork, Federleicht crank with Shimano XTR SM-BB93 bottom bracket, SRAM GX Eagle drive, Magura MT4 brakes and numerous KCNC parts create a 8.9kg light race bike in a class of its own!

As one of the first manufacturers we already optionally offer the newest 2020 Fox 32 SC Performance Grip4 fork with Push2Unlock Remote lever!

The robust 2-layer powder coating guarantees a permanently brilliant appearance.

Frame

Light and robust aluminium frame made to our specifications in the EU; Compact Ready 2 Race geometry with deep front and details that immediately catch the eye: polished welds, PM brake mount, X12 thru axle and an extremely durable powder coating - also in individual colours!

Crankset

Lightest children's crank in the world developed by us and CNC machined in Austria; in 160mm length ideally adapted to the size of the riders; lowest Q-factor; exchangeable Narrow Wide chainring and XTR bottom bracket standard

Wheelset

Durable wheelset with a weight of 1,530g, which is considerably lighter than the usual "light" wheelsets on the market; built by hand in Austria as carefully as the wheels of world champion Daniel Federspiel.

Saddle

The Selle Italia SLR Kit Carbonio is our standard saddle for lightweight bikes. Sufficiently comfortable and very durable.

Suspension fork

The Fox 32 SC Performance responds well, offers sufficient adjustment possibilities and is very light.

Drive

The SRAM 1x12 drive with 10/50 cassette in combination with the 30Z Narrow/Wide chainring is a very good drive configuration.

Components

The used components are usually to be found from the upper class on adult bikes - Fox 32 SC Performance suspension fork, Magura MT4 brake, Shimano XTR bottom bracket, KCNC lightweight components, Selle Italia saddle with carbon rails.

Hinweis:The Federleicht 29er is a category 3 bike according to the international standard ASTM F2043-13. Bikes of this category can be used in rough and unpaved terrain as well as for sporadic jumps with a maximum height of approx. 60 cm. However, even jumps of this height can cause significantly increased forces on the bike due to unclean landings or even falls, which can lead to damage to the bike and injury to the rider. The Federleicht Bike 29er Alu is designed for riders up to 60 kilograms.
