The Federleicht 20er MTB is the perfect entry into the world of mountain biking. The very light bike follows the idea of29" bikes. The compact geometry and the low bottom bracket allow early on (already from 95cm rider height) to feel the fascination of mountain biking under optimal conditions.
Many Federleicht exclusive components such as frame, wheelset, crankset and saddle are combined with top components from Shimano and KCNC to build a robust, 6kg lightweight MTB.
The robust 2-layer powder coating guarantees a permanently brilliant appearance.

Frame
Lightweight and robust aluminum frame manufactured to our specifications in the EU; Compact race geometry with low front and details that immediately catch the eye:
polished welds, clean cable routing, replaceable derailleur hanger and an extremely durable powder coating - also in individual colours!
Crankset
The Federleicht children's crankset is the worlds lightest - developed by Federleicht Bike and manufactured in Austria; the crank arm length of 120mm is ideally adapted to the size of the riders; lowest Q-factor; exchangeable Narrow/Wide chainring and XTR bottom bracket are the standard at all Federleicht Bikes.
Wheelset
Durable, 1.075g light wheelset, which is significantly lighter than the usual "light" wheelsets on the market; hand built at Federleicht Bike in Austria.
Saddle
Lightest full carbon saddle with child-friendly geometry and genuine leather cover developed and hand made to 100% in Austria; with 67g a true lightweight and yet robust enough for MTB use.
Drivetrain
The Shimano XT Shadow + 10s 11-32 cassette is combined with the 28T Absolute Black Narrow/Wide Chainring. Together they are the ideal drive configuration - lightweight, high gear ratio and tight grading.
Comonents
The purchased components usually can be found on upper class adult bikes only - Shimano XT drivetrain, Shimano XTR bottom bracket, KCNC lightweight components, Schwalbe,Conti or Maxxis premium tires.
Hinweis:The Federleicht 20er MTB is a bike of category 3 according to the international standard ASTM F2043-13. Bikes of this category can be used in rough terrain off-road as well as for sporadic jumps with a max. height of about 60 cm. However, even with jumps of this height, rough landings or even crashes can increase the forces on the bike significantly, which can damage the bike and cause injury to the rider. The Federleicht 20er bike is designed for rider weights up to 35 kilograms.
